We opened our doors on SW 4th Avenue with a used espresso machine, a recipe notebook, and the kind of stubborn optimism that only people who actually believe in their community can muster.
Today, we're still doing the same thing—just with better equipment and a line that sometimes wraps around the block on weekend mornings. The croissants are still laminated by hand. The beans are still rotated seasonally. And we still remember your name after the third visit.
